Complaints

How to raise a concern or complaint, and what happens next.

Last updated 12 July 2026

If something has not met your expectations, we want to hear about it. This page explains how to make a complaint, what Bimble can help with, and where to go for matters that are outside our control.

Complaints about Bimble's service

For help or complaints about the Bimble platform itself, such as a problem with the app or Provider Portal, a booking or payment issue, or how we have handled a request, contact our support team. You can reach us:

  • from the Bimble app (Help or Support);

  • from the Provider Portal (Help or Support); or

  • through our Help centre.

When you get in touch, please include enough detail for us to understand what happened, including any relevant dates, screens, or reference numbers, and the best way to reach you. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it, and work with you towards a resolution. Where a complaint is complex, we may need more time and will keep you informed.

Complaints about your privacy

If your complaint is about how we have collected, used, stored, or disclosed your personal or health information, contact our Privacy and Compliance team at compliance@bimble.health. We ask that privacy complaints be made in writing so we can investigate properly, and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), which oversees the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth):

  • Website: oaic.gov.au

  • Phone: 1300 363 992

Complaints about accessibility

If your complaint is about the accessibility of the Bimble platform for people with disability, contact us at hello@bimble.health. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 7 business days and to work with you on a resolution (see our Accessibility statement).

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Australian Human Rights Commission, which handles complaints under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth):

  • Website: humanrights.gov.au

  • Phone: 1300 656 419

Complaints about your care or a health practitioner

Bimble is a technology platform, not a healthcare provider. The practitioners and clinics you connect with through Bimble are independent and are responsible for the care they provide. We cannot investigate or make decisions about clinical care, treatment, or a practitioner's professional conduct.

If your complaint is about the care you received, the appropriate first step is usually to raise it directly with the practitioner or clinic. If your complaint is serious, or you are not comfortable raising it with them, or you are not satisfied with their response, you can contact:

  • in Queensland, the Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO), which is the state's central point for health service complaints, at oho.qld.gov.au or on 133 646 (133 OHO). The OHO handles complaints and refers serious matters to the national regulator where appropriate; or

  • the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), for concerns about a registered practitioner's health, conduct, or performance, at ahpra.gov.au or on 1300 419 495.

If you live in another state or territory, your local health complaints body can help; the OHO or AHPRA can point you to it.

If we receive a complaint about clinical care, we will let you know that it needs to be directed to the practitioner, clinic, or the bodies above, and we will help point you to the right place. Where we are required to by law or professional obligation, we may also pass on serious concerns to the appropriate body.

In an emergency

This page is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, call 000 or attend your nearest emergency department.

What happens after you complain

When you make a complaint to Bimble, we will acknowledge it, review it fairly, and tell you the outcome and the reasons for it. We treat complaints confidentially and handle any personal information involved in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Making a complaint will not affect your access to Bimble or the care you receive from practitioners.
